RETINAL IMAGING

We are proud to offer this amazing technology that obtains a very high definition image of the retina (the light sensitive layer on the inside of the eye).  These images can be very useful in further evaluating eye conditions that may threaten vision.  The photos can be a wonderful tool to establish a baseline so we can better determine if these conditions are changing over time. 

The ability to zoom in and see the tiny blood vessels in the back of the eye is incredible. 

The images can help discover the earliest signs of diabetic retinopathy and can help diagnose the progression of glaucoma.  We use retinal imaging to provide a high level of care for our patients and help monitor many different types of ocular conditions and diseases.
